Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the newly formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan also held the positions of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors and text coach. The last year of her tenure she worked as a director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been the director of the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut.
