Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of youthful heartache earned her widespread popularity in the first decade of the 20th century. Swift discovered a love for music as early as age and she progressed quickly into roles in theater for children and her first public appearance in front of an audience of thousands. Swift was 11 years old when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game. Following that, she began writing songs, and also took up guitar. Drawing inspiration from country music artists such as Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift's family moved into Tennessee from Pennsylvania when she was 13so she could have longer pursuing the country music label in Nashville.
